Single Male: meaning

Single male, or SM, is the lifestyle's term for a man who comes without a partner. At events, clubs and in online groups he is a separate category, and his reception varies widely.
Why single men are treated as a category
Clubs and parties try to keep a balance of couples and singles, so that everyone is comfortable. Many events therefore limit the number of single men, ask for a small screening, or require reservations. The rules are about ratio and safety, not about judging any individual man.
