Bull: meaning
Also: bull cuckold, the bull
The bull is the other man in a cuckold or hotwife arrangement. Nothing in the word means he outranks the husband in real life. It is a role, and in a well-run arrangement it is a role played with manners.
Why "bull"
The word comes from the same animal-metaphor tradition as cuckoo and stag: a strong, confident, virile male. It was chosen deliberately to contrast with the husband's role, particularly in dynamics where the husband enjoys being the second choice. In couples who use stag instead, the bull still exists, but the framing is friendlier.
What a bull typically does
- Meets the wife, usually after messaging and a first coffee or drink.
- Respects the husband's rules, especially around protection, timing and what is shared.
- Communicates cleanly, with no mixed messages or surprise changes.
- Leaves afterward, unless the couple has agreed to something longer.
Some bulls form a friendship with the couple; others keep it purely physical. Both are legitimate. A good one reads the room and does not push.
What makes one good or bad

The most common failure is not a lack of skill but a lack of manners: arrogance toward the husband, secret contact, or pressuring the wife.
Fantasy bull and real bull
In fantasy the bull is whatever the listener wants: a gym stranger, a coworker, a larger-than-life figure. In reality he is a person with moods, a job and his own boundaries. A lot of couples are happier with the fantasy, and there is nothing lesser about that. My audio keeps him in the voice of the story. The bull and the husband
The relationship between them is whatever the couple wants:
- Distant: they never meet or speak.
- Cordial: a handshake at the door.
- Directed: the husband gives instructions through the wife.
- Observed: the husband watches, often from a chair; see cuck chair.
A bull is not owed anything beyond the agreed time. The husband and wife are the arrangement; the bull is a guest.
Not the animal and not a bully
The common joke is that the bull is "the strong one". In the lifestyle he is expected to be gentle, honest and considerate. A man who treats a husband with contempt outside the agreed play is not a good bull, just a bully.

Frequently asked questions
Does the bull have to be bigger or stronger than the husband?
No. The word is a role, not a measurement. Size or strength may feature in fantasy, but in real arrangements a good bull is chosen for respect, discretion and chemistry, not comparison.
Can a bull become a boyfriend?
It can happen, but it changes the arrangement. Couples who want a regular partner should discuss emotional attachment in advance, set boundaries and review them often. Unplanned romance is the most common source of problems.
Is a bull the same as a lover?
A bull is a defined role in a consensual arrangement. A lover implies a private relationship. The difference is that a bull's presence is known to and approved by the husband, with rules everyone agreed to.
