MFM: meaning

MFM is a short code used in adult listings, stories and lifestyle profiles. Read the letters from left to right: Male, Female, Male. Two men and one woman, with the woman in the middle.
Reading the letters
The order of the letters is more than a rhyme. In most use:
- MFM: the woman is the focus; the men are each connected to her.
- MMF: the same trio, but the first two letters hint that the men also interact.
- FMF: two women and one man.
- FFM: same, with a different emphasis.
Usage varies, and some people use MFM and MMF interchangeably. If you need precision in a profile or a negotiation, write a sentence instead of relying on letters: "the men do not touch each other" tells everyone more than any acronym.
