Sharing Kink: meaning
Also: partner sharing, sharing fetish, wife sharing
Sharing kink is the broad family. If you are aroused by the idea of your partner being with another person, or of sharing her with a chosen man, you are somewhere inside it. The branches differ in what the sharer feels and what the couple does.

You can hold more than one at once. Many couples begin with a story, a photo or a dressing game and discover which branch they lean toward.
Why sharing is erotic
The reasons are as many as the people, but three come up repeatedly:
- Pride. Someone else wants the person I love, and she chooses.
- Contrast. Between safety and risk, familiarity and novelty.
- Intimacy through honesty. Telling each other a fantasy aloud can bring a couple closer than the act itself.
Researchers on sexual fantasy find that thoughts of a partner with others are widespread. Having the thought does not mean you want to act on it, and not wanting to act on it does not make the thought less valid.
Sharing is not the same as giving away
The word sharing can mislead. In a healthy arrangement nobody owns anyone. The wife is not an object that is passed around. She chooses, she can refuse, and she owns the outcome. When sharing stops working
If one of you feels like a bargaining chip, if the fantasy feels like an obligation, or if secrecy appears, the arrangement is no longer sharing, it is strain. Slow down, return to words, and consider a third party such as a couples counsellor who is comfortable with non-traditional arrangements.

What is sharing kink?

Is partner sharing the same as swinging?
No. Swinging is usually mutual: both partners play, often in the same room, with another couple or other couples. Sharing in the cuckold or hotwife sense is often asymmetric, with the wife playing and the husband watching or waiting.
Does a sharing fantasy mean I should try it?
