Script Offer: meaning
Also: script offering, offering a script, script post

A script offer is the opening move in a collaboration. A writer has a script, a performer might want it, and the offer states how it can be used. In audio communities, it is the standard way for words to find voices.
What an offer contains
- A title and summary, so performers can see the idea.
- Tags: voices, themes, tone; see audio tags.
- The script itself, or a sample and a way to get it.
- Terms of use: credit, permission, monetisation, edits.
- Content notes, such as limits and any sensitive themes.
- Contact: how to ask questions or share the finished audio.
A good offer is clear enough that a performer can decide quickly and safely.
Offer versus fill
| Script offer | Script fill | |
|---|---|---|
| Who acts | The writer | The performer |
| Action | Makes a script available | Records it |
| Output | A listing | An audio file |
| Responsibility | Terms and credit | Following the terms |
Both sides rely on trust and good manners.
Terms you will see
- Free to use with credit: record it, say who wrote it.
- Ask first: message before recording.
- No monetisation: record it, but do not earn from it.
- Monetisation allowed: you may sell or put behind a paywall.
- No edits: keep the words as written.
- Edits allowed: adapt for your voice.
Follow what is written. If you are unsure, ask.
Writing a good offer

- Say who it is for: F4M, M4F, F4A.
- Give the length in words and approximate minutes.
- List themes and limits honestly.
- Add stage directions so performers know your intent.
- State terms plainly.
- Say how you want to be credited.
- Keep the script clean: short paragraphs, clear structure.
Adult content and care
Offers for adult scripts should state clearly that the content is for adult performers and listeners and avoid anything outside the ethical lines of the community: no minors, no family roles, no non-consent presented as real. A performer is not obliged to accept any script that makes them uncomfortable.
For cuckold and hotwife scripts.
A good cuckold script has a clear setting, a defined relationship between husband and wife, and an honest consent frame. The performer must be able to deliver it with warmth. Examples of structure appear in Cuckold ASMR Script and Hotwife Roleplay Script, which are written for my own recordings.
My practice.
The recordings in my library are written for my own voice and arranged in an order that builds from Start Here. If you write scripts, the guides above show how I structure mine.
For performers

Read the whole script before agreeing. Check that the themes suit you. Tell the writer when you publish. Credit them correctly. And protect your own limits, because the voice is yours.
One-line version: Script offer: a writer making a script available for performers to record, with stated terms on credit and use.
Examples in a sentence
- His script offer listed the tags, the terms and the credit line he wanted.
- A clear script offer saves both sides time.
- She replied to the script offer before recording anything.
