Cuckolder: meaning
Also: cuckolders, the cuckolder
Cuckolder is the noun that goes with the verb to cuckold. It means the man doing it. Because the verb itself has two meanings, so does the noun.
Old use: the seducer
Older writers used the word for a man who seduced someone's wife and so "made a cuckold" of her husband. There was no consent in the picture. The cuckolder was a rival, a rake, a figure of stage comedy. If you read period plays, you will find him ridiculed alongside the husband.
Lifestyle use: the willing third
In the modern lifestyle the cuckolder is the same man as the bull, seen from a particular angle. A bull has the couple's explicit permission. When someone says "cuckolder" in a captions context, they often mean that same man, with the emphasis on the act of cuckolding rather than on his role in the couple.

If you want a single word, use bull. If you want the grammatically correct partner of "cuckolding," use cuckolder.

What a good cuckolder does
Whichever word you use for him, the best version of the man behaves in the same way:
- Respects the couple. The marriage is not a prize.
- Keeps the rules. If the husband asked for no photos, there are none.
- Is honest about health and available on schedule.
- Does not gloat. A bit of playful swagger is part of the scene; contempt for the husband is not.
- Leaves cleanly when asked to.

Frequently asked questions
Is a cuckolder the same as a bull?
In the lifestyle, mostly yes. Both mean the man who has sex with a cuckold's wife with the couple's consent. Bull is the common lifestyle term. Cuckolder is the older, more literal one and sometimes implies the act more than the role.
Is cuckolder a real word?
Yes. It is formed from 'cuckold' as a verb plus the usual -er ending and appears in older English as well as in modern captions and fiction. It is not in every dictionary, but the meaning is clear.
Does a cuckolder need the husband's consent?
In the lifestyle, yes. The consent of both spouses is the difference between a consensual arrangement and an affair. In older literature the cuckolder acted without consent, and that is the sense in which the husband was a victim.
