Queen of Spades Husband Tasks: 60 Daily, Date and Devotion Tasks
By Juliet Monroe · updated 2026-10-19 · 6 min read

Queen of Spades husband tasks are small, specific assignments that give a husband a real role in his wife's lifestyle. They are not chores for the sake of control; they are ways to practise devotion, patience and service so the dynamic feels lived rather than imagined. Sixty are listed here in three groups, with a sample week and the rules that keep them fair.
If you are new to the role, read the QoS husband role first, and take a look at the free Start Here course for the mindset behind these tasks.
Rules for good tasks
- Agree them in advance. No surprise assignments during stressful moments.
- Make them achievable. Aim for ten minutes or less for daily tasks.
- Name the success condition. "Done" should mean something clear.
- Give feedback. A word of thanks or a correction, either.
- Keep dignity intact. A task can be humbling without being degrading.
- Allow for bad days. Illness, work crises and fatigue count.
- Review monthly. Keep what works, drop what does not.
Daily tasks (1-20)

Small habits that keep the role visible.
- Wear your ring all day and touch it whenever you feel distracted.
- Make her morning drink exactly as she likes it.
- Lay out her outfit if she asks, otherwise offer two choices.
- Send a good-morning message before she wakes.
- Do one household job without being asked.
- Greet her at the door with a clear, warm hello.
- Read one affirmation aloud, such as the nightly say-it-back session.
- Keep a notebook of things she mentioned wanting.
- Ask, "Is there anything I can take off your plate today?"
- Put her phone on charge at night.
- Keep the bathroom stocked with her favourite products.
- Give her a five-minute shoulder rub without expecting anything.
- Write down one thing you appreciate about her and read it out.
- Check in at lunchtime with a short message.
- Tidy the bedroom before she gets home.
- Say thank you to her at least three times.
- Plan one small surprise for the week.
- Take the bins out, walk the dog or whatever the daily chore is, with a smile.
- Finish the day by asking how it went and listening for ten minutes.
- Say your closing line quietly: "Thank you for choosing me."
Date-night tasks (21-40)
For the evenings when she goes out, or the two of you go out together. Related rituals are in hotwife date night ideas.
- Book the restaurant or the car, and confirm the details.
- Iron her dress.
- Run her bath and set out the towels.
- Pour a drink and hand it over without commentary.
- Zip her up when she asks, nothing more.
- Say a short phrase as she leaves: "Have a wonderful evening."
- Tidy the house and put on fresh sheets.
- Prepare her favourite snack for when she returns.
- Stay available by phone, and answer within a minute if she texts.
- Follow her instruction on how to wait: sit, listen to audio, read, or do chores.
- Listen to Her Text Says Stay while you wait.
- Keep a small log of how you feel each hour.
- Check the lock number or ring when she asks.
- Do not call or text unless it is an emergency.
- Wait up, or do not, as she decides.
- Greet her at the door with water, a towel and a smile.
- Ask the three agreed debrief questions and listen.
- Say "Thank you for telling me" after any answer.
- Offer a foot rub or a hot drink before bed.
- Hold her until she falls asleep, or sleep on the sofa if she prefers.
Devotion and public tasks (41-60)

Longer-term tasks that deepen the role. See also husband service ideas.
- Wear her mark in public: a ring, a bracelet or an agreed symbol.
- Write her a letter once a month about what her choices mean to you.
- Learn something she enjoys: a language, a recipe, a song.
- Plan an anniversary ritual, with her guidance.
- Keep a gratitude journal for her, and give her a page each week.
- Practise a mantra for five minutes before bed. See mantra training.
- Give her one hour of uninterrupted attention a week.
- Handle one stressful task that she dislikes.

How to introduce a task system

If you have never used tasks, start gently. In week one, choose only one daily task, such as the ring touch, and one weekly task, such as the monthly letter. Write them where you both can see them. In week two add a second daily task and a first date-night task. By week four, you will know which tasks you enjoy, which feel like homework, and which she barely notices. Drop the last group.
A wife who dislikes giving instructions can reverse the structure: the husband proposes five tasks, she picks two, and he carries them out. That keeps her in command while removing the burden of invention. It also teaches her what he truly wants to do, which is useful information.
Examples of tasks done well
The coat task. A husband who holds her coat for her, every time, without being asked, signals attention in a three-second action. Done lazily, it is nothing. Done with a small pause and eye contact, it becomes a daily ritual.
The waiting task. On date nights, "wait" can mean anything from sitting in silence to reading a book. Define it. Many wives find that giving him a short specific brief, "audio at nine, bed at eleven, a text when I'm leaving," makes the evening calmer for both.
The letter task. Once a month, he writes a page about what the role means to him this month. Her only job is to read it. It makes the dynamic a conversation, not a performance.
The silent task. For one evening a week he speaks only when spoken to. It is gentle, memorable and easy to end if either of you wants to.
Tracking and keeping it light
A simple tracker is enough. Use a notebook or a note on your phone with three columns: task, done or not, comment. Review it every Sunday together for five minutes. Praise what went well. Choose one thing to change. Do not use the tracker to build a case against him; it is a record of effort, not a scoreboard of failure.
Some couples add a monthly theme to keep the list fresh: service month, attention month, gratitude month. Others rotate which of them chooses the tasks. Whatever structure you pick, keep the tone warm. A task that is carried out with a smile is worth ten that are carried out with resentment.
Rewards and feedback

Tasks without acknowledgement go stale. A good reward does not have to be sexual. A hug, a compliment, a shared coffee or a chosen film can be as meaningful. For heat, choose something small and surprising: a ruined release, a favourite position, a quiet evening of her attention. For more reward ideas, see rewards for a good husband.
When tasks stop working
If the list feels stale, ask three questions: Is it too much? Is it too little? Is it still wanted? Cut anything that has become automatic, and replace it with something with a little more meaning. And if the dynamic starts to feel like pressure, return to the queen of spades wife rules and reset.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a good task?
One that is specific, finite and enjoyable to complete. "Hold my coat when I leave" is a task. "Be better" is not. Good tasks are small enough to finish and meaningful enough to matter.
How many tasks a day is reasonable?
One to three. More than that turns into a chore list, which is a different dynamic. Keep one daily constant and rotate the rest.
Should tasks be punishments?
Not by default. The strongest pattern is task as service, with the occasional playful consequence. Real anger belongs in a conversation, not a task list.
Can tasks involve other people?
Only with explicit agreement. Most husband tasks are private, domestic or between the two of you. Anything involving others needs a clear yes from everyone involved.
