Dirty Questions to Ask Your Wife About Other Men: 50 Fantasy Questions
By Juliet Monroe · updated 2026-10-19 · 6 min read

Dirty questions to ask your wife about other men are the doorway to a conversation many couples never quite have. Asked well, they tell you what excites her, what scares her and what she is not interested in, without anyone committing to anything. Fifty are below, graded from mild to wicked, with advice on timing and listening.
If you want the bigger picture first, read how to tell your wife you want to be a cuckold and the free Start Here course.
Ground rules
- Choose a safe moment. No kids, no deadlines, no alcohol-fuelled bravado.
- One question at a time. Wait for the answer before moving on.
- Listen first. Do not correct, argue or bargain.
- Fantasy is not a promise. Say that out loud.
- Either of you can pass. "I'd rather not answer" is a valid reply.
- End warmly. A kiss, a hug or a laugh before you close the topic.
- Give her the same questions. If she asks you back, answer honestly.
Mild: warming up (1-10)

- Who would you say is the most attractive man you have seen this week?
- What do you notice first about a man you find attractive?
- Have you ever had a harmless crush since we have been together?
- Do you enjoy it when men look at you? Why or why not?
- What kind of compliment from a stranger would make your day?
- Is there a celebrity you find irresistible, and what is it about him?
- What kind of man makes you feel completely at ease?
- Do you like being flirted with when you are out with me?
- When was the last time you felt really desired by someone other than me?
- Does being admired make you feel more confident, more playful or more nervous?
Curious: exploring (11-20)
- If you could spend one evening flirting with someone, with no consequences, what would you want?
- What would you want me to say if I saw someone checking you out?
- How would you feel if I told you I found it exciting when others notice you?
- What do you think I'd feel if you told me about a fantasy?
- Is there anything about the idea of other men that interests you in a safe way?
- Have you ever imagined me watching you with someone?
- What do you think jealousy does for us?
- Would you want to know the details, or none of them?
- What would you need to feel safe before you tried anything new?
- What would make you say no immediately?
Warm: fantasy talk (21-30)

- If you could design the perfect fantasy man, what would he look like and how would he treat you?
- What would you do if you were allowed to flirt freely at a party?
- Do you ever imagine telling me about an evening afterward?
- Would you rather I know everything, or just the best parts?
- What kind of story would you enjoy hearing, if it were all fiction?
- Would you like me to ask you for stories, or wait until you offer?
- What would you want me to do while you were out?
- If you could choose the setting for a fantasy, where would it be?
- How would you like me to react when you come home?
- What phrase would you want me to say to help you feel proud?
Hot: getting specific (31-40)
- What is the most arousing part of a scenario where I'm not the only man in the room?
- Do you like the idea of a stranger, an acquaintance or someone I know?
- Would you want me to be there, nearby or not at all?
- What would you want me to do when it's over?
- Would you prefer it to be about romance, pure lust or a bit of both?
- How important is it that you choose everything and I only follow?
- Would it turn you on if I said I wanted to hear every detail?
- What would you want to wear?
- What boundaries would be non-negotiable?
- If we tried something small, what would it be?
Wicked: pure fantasy (41-50)

These are for couples who already enjoy the topic and have talked openly. Keep them as pure fantasy unless you both say otherwise.
- What is the most shamelessly wicked thing you've imagined and never told me?
- How would you want me to behave if you came home late?
- What would you want me to say if you wanted me to wait outside?
- Would you like me to be quiet, grateful or jealous?
- What if I wore a ring or a lock as a sign of the arrangement?
- If the fantasy were a film, who would be the director?
- What do you imagine he would say to me?
- Which part would you want to keep entirely private?
- Would you want me to listen to an audio story while you were out? A good example is Just Watch.
- If we turned all of this into a game, what would be the first rule?
Setting the scene
Where you ask matters nearly as much as what you ask. A few settings that work:
- In bed with the lights low. Close, warm, and private. The darkness makes honesty easier.
- On a long drive. Side by side, no eye contact, which many people find easier for sensitive topics.
- After a nice dinner. Relaxed, with enough wine to loosen the mood but not so much that the conversation becomes sloppy.
- On a walk. Movement and fresh air lower defensiveness.
- In a bath. Soft, safe and playful, as long as you are both willing.
Avoid asking at moments of conflict, in front of other people, by text first thing in the morning, or when she is rushing out. If she looks tired or distracted, postpone. A question asked at the wrong time can close a door that would have opened on its own a week later.
If the topic is new to her
Some wives have never been asked these questions, and the first reaction can be surprise, laughter or silence. Give her time. Tell her you are curious rather than hoping for something. Offer to answer the same question yourself. If she says, "I need to think about that," accept it and move on. Many women return to the subject a few days later with a more thoughtful answer than they could have given in the moment.
You might also say, plainly, what the conversation is for: "I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm trying to understand what turns you on, and I'd like to tell you what turns me on too." That sentence alone makes most wives relax. And if she says, kindly, that the topic is not for her, believe her. You can still love each other, and you can still enjoy audio on your own; the guide on how to introduce cuckolding to your wife covers what to do next.
How to listen
The questions are only half the work. Your reaction determines whether she answers honestly next time.
- Stay neutral at first. A calm "Mm, tell me more" works better than a rush of excitement.
- Reflect back. "So you'd like it to be romantic rather than rough?" shows you were listening.
- Thank her. "That was brave" is a good response.
- Avoid judgement. Even if the answer is a surprise.
- Ask what she needs. "Is there anything that would help you feel safe?" is a good follow-up.
If she says something that stings, write it down and revisit it tomorrow. See cuckold fantasy conversation starters for more on pacing the conversation and introducing cuckolding to your wife for the next step.
Turning answers into a plan

After a few conversations, you may see a pattern. A quick way to use it:
| Her answers | What it suggests |
|---|---|
| Mostly mild and curious | Keep talking; try audio or stories together |
| Warm and specific | Discuss rules and vetoes |
| Hot and wicked | Plan a small experiment, such as a flirty date night |
| Mixed with hesitation | Slow down, revisit the mild questions |
| A firm no | Respect it and stay close |
Audio can be a gentle bridge. Some wives like hearing a scene in a safe form first: try Before You Said Yes or Queen of Spades as a shared listen, and see what she says afterwards. Turn Your Jealousy Into Pride is a good one for the husband to hear while she is in the room. For wording help, my couples dirty talk script shows how a conversation can become part of the fun.
A good conversation about this ends the same way a good evening does: warm, a little breathless, and with both of you eager to talk again.
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to ask?
In a relaxed, private moment when neither of you is tired or stressed. Bed, a slow evening in, or a long drive often works. Avoid asking during or right after an argument.
What if she says she has no fantasies?
Accept the answer, and try a mild question later. Some people need time to feel safe saying things aloud. Never press or ask the same question twice in a row.
What if her answer upsets me?
Pause and breathe. A fantasy is not a plan. Say, "Thank you for telling me," and come back to your reaction later.
Should I tell her my own fantasies first?
Often yes. Sharing something about yourself makes it easier for her to share back, and it signals that this is a mutual conversation, not an interrogation.
Are these questions only for couples who already explore?
No. They are written for curious couples, including ones who have never discussed the topic. Start with the mild group and move only if you both want to.
