Safe Call: meaning
Also: safety call, check-in call, safe call dating
A safe call is a safety habit borrowed from online dating and escorting circles. Before a first meeting, you tell someone you trust where you are going, with whom and when you will check in. You then call or text at the arranged time. If you miss it, that person knows to escalate.
Why hotwives use it
A hotwife meeting a new bull is meeting someone she has screened but not yet tested in person. A safe call costs a minute and gives her husband, or a friend, a clear trigger point. For the husband, it also gives a ritual role that many enjoy: he is the person at the other end of the line.
How to set one up

Keep the call short. The point is to confirm you can talk, not to hold a conversation in front of him.
